STEELDAY 2026

On October 23, High Steel Structures will kick off STEELDAY 2026, our annual celebration of steel innovation, craftsmanship, and the people who shape the bridge construction industry. As part of AISC’s nationwide STEELDAYS week, this event brings together transportation construction professionals for a full day of learning, connection, and hands‑on excitement.

The morning begins offsite at The High Auditorium at St. Joseph's University, with a can’t‑miss project showcase featuring Thomas Murphy, Ph.D, P.E., S.E. from Modjeski and Masters, the design consultant behind the Pennsylvania Turnpike’s Hawk Falls Bridge Replacement Project and Brad Dillman, P.E. Vice President of Engineering and Estimating at High Steel.  Attendees will get an insider’s look at the design and fabrication of one of the region’s most innovative steel bridge projects. 

In the afternoon, the action moves to our Lancaster fabrication facilities for an Open House packed with experiences: a BBQ picnic, guided shop tours, and interactive welding demonstrations.
