Rochester's landmark triple-arch bridge: Another massive High Steel project is complete

Lancaster, Pa. (September 13, 2007) – High Steel Structures Inc. is pleased to announce the recent completion of the $37-million landmark Frederick Douglass - Susan B. Anthony Memorial Bridge (formerly the Troup-Howell Bridge) spanning the Genesee River in downtown Rochester, N.Y. Over the last several years, High Steel has contributed to the project by fabricating and delivering 5,391 tons of steel components. The structural steel for the arch ribs, braces, and approach spans that make up the triple-arch, 433-foot long, 70-foot high design were produced and transported from Lancaster to Rochester from 2004 to 2006.
